Al Furqan Foundation of Washington was established by Mohamoud Ishak in response to an increase in need to help out youth suffering from drugs and other recreational drugs. Since its inception, Al Furqan Foundation of Washington has focused on shedding light on this issue through community gathering as well as through teaching.

Our services are intended to reach not only the youth but also reach out to the families who are impacted. Our services include:

• Youth program:
  Drug Education Workshops: to educate youth about dangers of drug use, including the effects on physical health, mental well-being, and overall quality of life.
• Training Youth leadership to help prevent drug spread through the community.
• Sports

• Consulting and Social Service:
• Help parents understand dangers of drug use.
  Crisis Intervention: Providing support and guidance to families during times of crisis or upheaval, such as divorce, illness, loss of a loved one due to drugs violence, or houses.

• Help fill applications.
• Citizenship classes.
